atelier36 is a young architectural practice based in Oslo and led by Paola Simone.
Our practice is based on the knowledge we have accumulated during over 12 years of experience, collaborating with great professionals both in Norway and Spain.
In our projects we aim for a close relation to the human scale, both in the individual and social spheres.
We share a strong interest in sustainable development which leads our choices in materials, design and collaborations.
We think that architecture and design are multidisciplinary professions in which the optimal goal can be achieved with a complete and dedicated partnerships with all the parts involve in the project.
We have a wide experience working with cultural institutions and art environments in different countries. We design and curate exhibitions, work with museums and exhibition spaces in many different scales.
In combination with our practice we keep a teaching activity at AHO, School of Architecture in Oslo.
